First Monday of the month (excl Bank Holidays) Please contact the organisers Crowmarsh Village Hall, Crowmarsh OX10 8ED The Music Club is an out of school activity for children and young people 0-19 with a disability and additional needs and their families.  They provide music workshops, outings, fun days as well as information and resources. First Monday of the month 6pm Coachmakers Arms, Wallingford Starting 4th April, there will be a pub night for over 18s. No specific supervision, but a parent will be present to ensure its smooth running. Simple pub quizzes. Contact Evelyn Kerrigan on 07500 135572 for more information.
Tuesdays 12-1pm Grandpoint Children's Centre, South Oxford A Stay and Play session for families who have young children with additional needs such as delay with their development or a disability.  Click here for more information.
Tuesdays 1-2.30pm North Abingdon Children's Centre A weekly group for families and their children with additional needs.  Click here for more information.
Tuesdays 6.30-8pm Ladygrove's Children Centre, Didcot A support group for diagnosed and undiagnosed children (0-19) who have a disability or SEN. Click here for more information.
Tuesdays during term-time 4.15-5.15pm Wantage CofE Primary School A multi-sport session for boys and girls aged 7-44 with special educational needs, aimed at improving fitness, stability and core skills, as well as providing an outlet for lots of energy. Click here for more information.
Every 1st Tuesday of the month 9.30-11.30am Carterton Community Centre Cafe, Shilton Park, Abingdon Helping Hands is a support group run by parents to offer support to parents and carers of children with special needs.  Click here for information or call Leah Reeve on 01993 840925 for details.
Last Tuesday of the month 7-9pm Eynsham A group to promote better understanding of ADHD.  Click here for more information.
Tuesdays fortnightly during term-time varies North Abingdon Children's Centre, Dunmore Primary School SHIFT, an informal group of parents and carers of children with special needs who get together fortnightly in term-time to chat about the joys and difficulties of parenting a child with special needs.  Click here for more information.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.30-6pm CLEAR Unit, Sports Centre, Oxford Brookes University Offered by Movement Science Group at Oxford Brookes University, this is a specialised gym session for teenagers reluctant to engage in sport or physical activity.  Following a general safety induction, participants will perform a circuit of exercises using light weights and exercise machines, under the guidance of a fully qualified Fitness Coach. The exercises include weight drills for the arms, legs and core and cycling on an exercise bike. Sessions cost £4. Email Andy Meaney for details.
Wednesday 1.30 to 2.30pm Willowbrook Leisure Centre, Ladygrove Park, Didcot. Mixed sports & movement session: Come and join us on the mixed sports and movement session for young people/adults with learning disabilities and people who need extra support to compete. This session is a new club with qualified coaches, providing a variety of mixed sports. Sessions run during term time and during school holidays. No pre-booking, just turn up!
1st Wednesday of the month 1-2.30pm Elm's Road Children's Centre, Botley A Stay and Play session for families who have young children with additional needs such as delay with their development or a disability.  Click here for more information.
Every 2nd Wednesday of the month during term-time 9.30 to 11.30am The Charlie Luke Room, St John's Church, Burford Road, Carterton Carterton Autistic Parental Support (CAPS) group.  A chance to get together with other parents.  The group has been widened to include ADHD and other associated conditions.  For more information on CAPS, click here for the programme for 2011 or contact lyndsey.baker@btinternet.com

Thursday 1.30 to 2.30 pm Willowbrook Leisure Centre, Ladygrove Park, Didcot. Bounce session: Have fun and enjoy the bounce session with music and games alternating with bouncy castle and obstacle course for children with special needs. Sessions run during tem time and during school holidays. £2.50 per session. No pre-booking, just turn up!
First Thursday of the month 9.30-11.30am Marston Children's Centre, Northway HIPPOS, an informal support group run by parents for parents and carers of children with additional needs living in Oxfordshire.  Coffee and chat, as well as speakers. Thursday 4.30-6.30pm 'Stuff' at The Net, Stratton Way, Abingdon OX14 3RG An inclusive youth group in Abingdon with specialist support for young people aged 13-18 on Thursdays. Click here for more information.

Saturdays Sessions at 10.45am and 12 noon Northway Tower, near the John Radcliffe at Oxford Saturday activity club for children aged 5-12 years with dyspraxia, run by the Oxford Dyspraxia Group under the supervision of a trained physiotherapist. Sessions cost £7 but the visit session is free. Email the local co-ordinator for more details of this activity or for information about the Oxford Dyspraxia Group.

Olympics Sports Club on Saturday afternoons for anyone with a disability or special need. £2.50, or £1.25 with a Link Card. (Contact Cherwell District Council Customer Service Centre on 01295 221940 for information on how to obtain a Link Card.)

Autism Friendly Screenings: special screenings approximately every 6 weeks, especially for people with autism (and other similar severe learning disabilities), and their families and carers. The soundtrack is turned down a little and low lights left on. Making a noise or moving around is absolutely fine. The bar will be open after the film for the chance to chat and socialise. Tickets cost £2.50, booking is recommended but you can also turn up on the day. Phone 0871 704 2064.

KEEN is an organisation of Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University students offering sporting and recreational activities for children and young adults with special needs in Oxfordshire.  KEEN offers sporting activities to around 200 children and adults with special needs (ranging in age from 5 to 30).  They work with a huge range of abilities and can offer one-to-one or even two-to-one coaching. Activities take place each day of the week, including Saturday sports sessions.
